Психологи из Великобритании и Швеции опубликовали исследование о «Тетрисе». Они изучили воздействие популярной во всем мире игры на ментальное здоровье людей, пишет Medical Xpress.
В исследовании ученым помогали медсестры. Оказалось, что простая головоломка, построенная на использовании геометрических фигур, позволяет успешно бороться со стрессом на работе и помогает забыть о травматических воспоминаниях, которые медсестры пережили во времена буйства COVID-19.
Уход за пациентами в тяжелое время пандемии отразился на самочувствии многих медицинских работников. Они стали свидетелями различных травматических образов, которые спустя время все еще не покидали их головы. Например, трудно забыть лицо ребенка, узнавшего о смерти родителя.
Один из способов борьбы с посттравматическим стрессовым расстройством — установка связей между травмирующими и приятными воспоминаниями. Такой процесс позволяет легче переключиться на что-то положительное, если плохие навязчивые мысли вновь лезут в голову. В случае нового исследования этим «приятным воспоминанием» стала игра в «Тетрис».
Все происходило так: медсестрам предложили играть в головоломку и одновременно с этим вспоминать ранее увиденные травматические образы и пережитые события. Игровые сессии длились 10-20 минут, сеансов было несколько. Добровольцы регулярно выполняли это упражнение в течение четырех недель.
Итог — навязчивые воспоминания стали посещать медсестер в 10% реже. Кроме того, некоторые добровольцы отмечали уменьшение других неприятных симптомов, таких как депрессия, тревога и бессонница.
